To reduce waste on an assembly line. I designed a custom made post cure oven to efficiently cure bonded composite panels on the assembly line. The oven is constructed from aluminum extrusion frame with two inch foam insulation. The exterior panels were machined from HDPE and the interior panels were made from 16ga stainless steel. The oven has dual pane lexan doors with an insulation barrier. the doors were machined from a single piece of aluminum with a gasket seal around the periphery.
